My nikkor 50mm 1.8 G is for portraits. Very good lens for portraits ^^ I tried to use it with extention tubes on my reflex, not bad ...

The 50mm f/1.8 AI / D / G share the same optical formula with small variations. And is considered of the best nikkor lenses through time. I have the D version.

I know because I search a lot in ebay.
Here we have good prices in consumer electronics.

I always buy cameras new, and lenses. With the exception of vintage lenses and once that I bought a Nikkor AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G VR from Germany (ebay) in great condition and nice price (less than half its retail price).

I might try eBay. But the link you send, it’s more affordable for brand new. Would love to have that lens in my equipment in future.
