I think you always need a tripod when shooting macro with flash

No it's ok with a flash ^^ but i don't like it , I prefere to get natural light and use tripod, I never take My tripod outdoor, i must try ^^

I think I will buy a mini tripod for smartphone, to use it with my mirrorless

For a smart phone . How you planning to use it with your mirrorless camera ?

This is the same thing, just watch the weight that the tripod can get. I need a mini tripod to use the camera at home, and maybe outside, on the floor, I don't know

I use my tripod regulary and it's one of the most important parts of my equipment. My old Rollei C5i is ok so far but I'm looking for a new one the next months.
Maybe I'll buy this one here:

Manfrotto Befree GT XPRO Kit Carbon

It's for sure not cheap but it's a very good tripod with ice features.

I have an manfrotto tripod and I like it. I paid a bit of money for it, but unfortunately I don’t use it as often as I was expected from beginning. Are you planning to sell current tripod ? Helix_2648

Greg to be honest I don’t think I will buy a tripod for a phone

Hi Jack, I don't think so as the old one is not in best condition. It looks really used and I don't think that anybody would pay money for this.

You never know. Probably you can try to sell when there will be an official Marketplace here .

Mine is still in mint condition, as I always keep it in the bag.
