Personally I photograph instinctively, for insects, therefore in the old way, no stacking, I try to innovate when I am inspired to differentiate myself by the angles of view.

Photoshop is only an artifice, if the image is bad, or lacks sharpness, Ps will not work a miracle, a bad image, remains a bad image

what I’m thinking regarding stacked pictures, is that they could be could for books. So people can see all subject in focus.

I think , there is two change : stacking pictures with small f numbers or single shots with high DOF by hight f numbers..

You need to try Jack to do any simply stackings , with and withought.. so you will se the diffrends
