Hi,

How do you achive better photos with food coloring? I drop it in a glass of water, but not everything is in focus and the photo looks distorted. Bellow is my best photo of food coloring in water but I don't like it that much compared to photos I find on a simple search on Google Images.

I know for myself I’ve done a lot of food coloring photos using syrup instead, it’s a bit thicker consistency so I find a lot easier to control. Using a white corn syrup I’ve done so many shots that way.

I think that it's a challenge to get a shot with high DOF and shutter speed to freeze the movement of the food color. I never have tried it by myself so I'm interesting to read other comments about it.
