I agree, vignette especially when your subject is more central and the background is busy, helps draw your eyes to the subject

This usually it's good technique for all subjects. It does helps a lot when shooting products. You might check some coins sbooted by me on Products subforums.

Beautiful light and beautiful colors! A beautiful portrait of a butterfly.
Just a note, if you allow, I find it a pity that the pine thorns are sharp in front of the butterfly, but the top of the wings slightly blurred. Perhaps you could have shifted the focus slightly backwards ...

i was hoping he’d stay still to allow me to take more pictures but it was a one shot detail with fingers crossed I got him ok
