Great shoot, can't believe you can get such of great pictures with Laowa lens. Is worth the money? How much you spend for the lens? Also how you manage to get the insect to stay for 30 stack pictures?

Laowa is a perfect lens for extreme macro, but you cannot use it for general photography, as it's a specialized lense. The price is very good considering the quality and compared with other options.
However, you can start exploring with microscope lenses and extension tubes as that is the cheapest option. You can use a manual micrometric rail too. Most of this type of pictures are taken to dead insects. HTH.

To be honest i wasn’t sure that the insect is alive, as you can’t really shot insects, they always fly and is annoying.

What do you think about 100mm L lens?

That's a really good lense, for field photography, you can add a Raynox DCR-250 lense in front of it and extension rings to have more magnification. IS really helps.
