Minerals: Cinnabar crystal in Dolomite matrix
Some ancient cultures like China used to call it dragon blood and was used to make poison. Today it's used to art and produces pure mercury element.

Size of this specimen's about 11 x 4 x 3.5 cm. It has 2 sides all containing cinnabar crystals but the face I captured seems to be the easiest to capture photos however it is the smallest.

Do you have any image how it is looking in real life, I'm just curious. Because seems that is a new type of photography, for shooting minerals.

I glad you ask me, please more, im happy to answer your questions . 70% my minerals in collection i gather from many quarries and mountains. Mesolite i was post last 2 day is example. 20% i bought from ebay, amazon and the last 10% i traded with another minerals collectors

So I can imagine you have lots of them in collection. Would be amazing if you’d like to share more, it’s just interesting. To be honest I did not knew about macro photography into minerals . I think that’s really unique

:D minerals in my bed, my table, my bags, look like they are everywhere in my house haha. Why not try to macro them, friend, im sure they are really awesome. Some granite or basalt rock contain many minerals can easy find in mountains.
