Closed Theme Eyes photo theme

I have my eyes on you... shot using Canon 20D, EF 100mm lens, natural light, hand held shot, ISO 100, f/2.8, 1/2000s. This beauty was being carried by a zoo care taker and I was lucky enough to capture this shot while they were passing by. As you can see the timing was perfect for the eyes to completely look directly into the lens.

Never knew insects could have more eyes... this little head of a wasp showed after a second more entlarged photo three extra eyes. Wiki learned me these are for extra orientation between dark and light.

This baby spider was a really challenge. I wanted this specific view and ‘looks’. It took quite a while before my lttle model wanted to cooperate. Olympus M1MIII, Canon MP-E65

There is a lot of insects which have more than 2 eyes. Common bee and wasp have the same tipe of eye like this one.

Hello, first post here. I’m pretty new to macro photograph.
This is my Palmetto Corn snake, it’s a caramel morph, so the flecks only appear yellow.
It was bred by south mountain reptiles in Texas, USA.
Palmettos are the only corn snakes to have blue eyes.
