At other piece of masterclass Ron Westbroek , I would prefer that the whole subject to be in focus , bit this is till great stack, Helix_2648 will like it i guess

Amazing stack! So detailed and pin sharp. Fantastic work Ron Westbroek!

Jack i believe that this would be a challenge to take enough pictures to have to whole fly in focus. You would for sure need over 100 pictures for such a magnification.

I think it is possible but then you have to keep a little more distance from the subject.
And I couldn't take more distance with this photo, there was a fence in the way

Did you taken this picture in your garden? Ron Westbroek
Sometimes nature say us, how picture must looks liek
For me it working well, then the focus is on the fly's eyes , don't need to be more

Agree, as is macro photography, you can shoot even macro in own room

yeah Ron Westbroek and Jack . Sometime objects to shooting macros come to visit your home, so don't need go far , and always can find something to shoot macros , even own eye as Greg78340
