Hi friends,
Here is a new photo just taken yesterday; I was not in my best mood to shoot as it was quite hot and butterflies were still very active so hard for me to have them stay in place; I was quite lucky enough to have this butterfly that wanted to pose for me. I hope you would like this photo. Thank you for your feedback and lovely support.
Best regards. 986A6137modif.jpg

Most of the times yes, I am quite fascinated with these insects; but sometimes I also shoot dragonflies or other insects as well as bigger animals. 🙃

What lens are you using for butterflies ? Macro lens ?

Well, I use both a macro lens or a zoom 70-200mm without it being macro.

I have them both. 70-200 is way more heavy for macro photography. 100mm is OK. Which version of 100mm you have?

I don't know if there are different versions of 100mm, but it's Canon, 100mm, that goes on Canon ;)

There is 2 versions of macro 100mm, one is with built in IS L premium lens, and an other one is simple 100mm macro without Image stability.
