Ok i just discuss with pro My flash don't have 2nd shutter , so i can't get high speed if i go more than 1/300 s the top of the picture is black. thx

Doesnt you have high sync on the flash ? Or is that the same as 2nd schutter?

No high sync , when i shoot > 1/300 the top of the picture is black

Yeah, when i tried my flash, it was on 1/200 max , don't know why, i have to test modes ^^ i'll be back with more photo / tests lol

Does your flash support HSS Greg78340? Tis means high speed sync and is important to sync your flash above 1/200s (for my flash 1/250s)

I think no ^^ Neewer flash 60€ 1/250 max. no high speed but still pretty good for 60€

If your flash has no HSS (Highs Speed Sync), you can try what MinitecaPhotographie mentions. The lower the flash power, the shorter the flash burst is. If you keep the shutter open for, lets say 1 second in a dark room (you can use a small aperture such as f/22, and the lowes ISO), and play triggering the flash at the same time you drop water.

Yeah I already try this but with my ring flash and it's not so fast , but with my actual cobra i must try this ^^
