Dear fellows,

it's some days ago since my last post but now I want to show you some new slime mould pictures.

This time I've taken a stack of Arcyria pomiformis.

Wow, that's very impressive! I'd like to learn how to stack this year. What lens did you use for this? MPE 65?

Hi Desc1234 Desc1234, I use my Canon EF-S 60mm macro and the Raynox MSN-505. The MPE 65 would require a MacroRail because it has no autofocus.
Interesting - one of the problems I've come across with my 100 mm is that the closest you get is 30 cm, and I'd like to find a way to get higher than 1:1 mag. lack of AF is not a problem as all my macro is MF and manual exp. I've heard the MPE 65 is very difficult to use for the reasons you've mentioned, but I tend to focus by moving back and forth.
