I am not liking these pictures due to I cannot see the spider's face but the web turned out interesting. Unknown spider at the Conroy Pit, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Pretty good pictures ! It's very hard to catch a full clear picture of a spider in it's nest ... I tried and when I was too close the spider disapeared

Yes Jack he was a nice sized spider and the light was hitting him just right...too bad no face shotYou are right
