Still experimenting with a light cage I built last weekend.
This is a stack of 74 images taken on a Wemacro Rail at 54um steps, stacked in Zerene Stacker (PMax output) and then touched up in Photoshop.
I had two lights directly above and two on the sides pointing towards the centre of the fly...
Hi everyone,
Here is a cute hoverfly taken 1 year ago in the forest during a cold sunny day of autumn.
I had to crop a bit the photo as one part was pointless and because it flew away too quickly I could not take proper photos of this insect.
So here is a square version of it ;)
I hope you...
Hi friends,
When I started to shoot macro, I was looking for pure macro close ups and not much. With the Nikon 5000D and 60mm Nikkor that my husband owned, I shot this fly. I was so proud at that time; today it's like: meah....
feel free to criticise ;)
I've never seen this insect before - which is one of the things I love about Macro/Close up photography. Conditions were quite breezy, so pleased to get this shot with the reverse lens setup and handheld.
Sony a7iii + Laowa 2.5-5x
This photo was focus stacked with 8 photos.
All photo was taken at f2.8 1/100s ISO 100
2 Speedlite YN560 were fired on each photo
So, due to vacation and the mountains wanted me to visit them I didn't have the time to search for our little friends. But this evening after work I found this little one. I looked it in the eyes and felt in love.
