The screen of a 13" MacBook is too small. I am looking at a windows laptop or the M1 mac mini with 16GB of ram or the new Imac with 16GB of ram
The M1 Mac mini is a nice choice if have a good monitor to use with it and a keyboard, the iMac is also a good choice. Tough decision between the two really, I am sure they will both cover your needs very well.
The iMac is superb with a great monitor, however the Mac mini is just as good and if you get an average monitor you may have a bit of money left over, but it will be about the same price as the iMac if you get a nice 4k monitor to go with it.
Personally I would go with the iMac, as it has a decent sound system also and a webcam. :)

The imac with 16Gb of ram is €1599, that is the 8cpu and 7 gpu version, here in The Netherlands, the mac mini (8 cpu, 8 gpu) with 256GB SSD and 16GB of ram is €1029 without keyboard, mouse, monitor and without speakers. With all that together the mac mini is around €1500-1500. So basically about the same price.

Very expensive to be honest, why you don’t get a windows laptop? You probably get same specs but cheaper , so you can save some money for a lens or other photography gadgets?

I paid for my HP Envy 17inch around £1300 years ago, and still running smoothly and happy with it. All depends on your budget and needs.

At the moment i am looking at several options, laptop, all-in-one pc, desktop/mini desktop with monitor. At the moment i am using a core i3 7th Gen with 16GB ram. Windows runs smooth, lightroom and photoshop run good. So guess any newer cpu i5/i7 or ryzen 5/7 will tun even better. Only thing i want a bit larger is the screen, 15 inch is a bit small, laptops go to 17.3" and bigger then that you need a external monitor. Problem with that is that i have no clue which ones are good and which ones to stay away from.

At the moment photography is a bit slow, been busy getting everything ready for the built of a extension to the house, patio cover, not sure if that is the correct name for it in english. Only need to order the wood and the roof shingles and then ready to start building.

If both Photoshop and Lightroom run smoothly I would probably not consider buying new laptop. Unless you have extra budget.

What's the reason for buying new laptop?

You might want to keep your current laptop and buy a TV screen or bigger monitor and use HDMI cable to share on the monitor or screen.

The reason is that it takes me about 5-10 minutes to login to my current laptop. The battery is completely dead, the second hard drive is not recognized (i removed it and it works fine in a bracket) So i guess it is time to start looking for a replacement before it completely stops working.

Alright, then yes, that's a good reason. Have you checked HP laptops? Or you are looking for IMacs?

The cheapest iMac 24" with 16gb ram i can find is € 1469 . I am also looking at 17" HP and Lenovo laptops. The laptops with either ryzen 7 or intel i7 and 16gb ram with 512gb ssd start at €1199

Then my recommendation is to go with Windows laptops, I highly recommend HP Envy laptops only, can't say much about Lenovo or IMac as I never had one.

I will also recommend to buy straight from the company to avoid any issues with third party retailers.
