You can give it a try. Have you tried with Raynox? How close you want to get?

Try Raynox. Get closer. I know laowa lenses are expensive.

Then the only solution is to get Laowa extreme lens. But that is really expensive.

The lens costs 400€, the macrorail 300€ (with the actual discount) and let's say 100€ for the battery pack. Would costs the same a the 100mm macro lens from Canon. Since I own a macro lens this would be a more interesting option for me.

It's pretty much the price of Canon 100mm L f.2.8 lens, as you said. Is that how expensive is the macro rail ?
