You can buy a battery pack from them or a 12V DC battery pack from other suppliers.
Agree, but then you want a proper battery, not one made in China which will last you couple of months.

Helix - right off the bat, a few thoughts come to mind. Check the individual frames of the stack if the images are in focus the problem lies with your stacking program. If the individual frames are out of focus then you have an equipment issue. Right off the bat:

1) Are you using live view to shoot the stack?
2) Are you giving the WeFine macrorail sufficient time to settle between shots?
3) What material is the tripod made of, aluminum is more susceptible to environmental vibrations then carbon fiber or wood.

I don't have a MacroRail. Actually I'm using just the 60mm macro with the MSN-505 attachment and the internal focus bracketing function from my EOS 90D.

The tripod is stable enough but the MSN-505 lens causes certain blurry areas in the edges. That's why I'm thinking to buy a MacroRail with the manual Laowa lens.

If you want to test the MSN-505 shoot a piece of graph paper at the same magnification. If it is the source of the blur you'll see it there.

Helix I was thinking about this today, have you tried to use the 60mm with extension tubes instead of the MSN-505. I have used the 60mm extensively with tubes and had good results.
