Thank you dear friend Bihari Bihari

For the comment on depth of field.
I used f/3.2 which was far from the f/1.8 of the lens. I wanted to focus on the edge of the page to the dandelion. It is a semi abstract image and as I mentioned above it is a frame in a frame with a rather minimalistic and subtractive approach, composition wise. As it is now composed and created, the viewers eye goes on the dandelion flower with the help of the leading lines of the folded page that opens on the top where the flower is placed. If a smaller aperture was chosen then it would add in focus detail, as you mentioned, that would include the letters and phrases of the page of the book drawing the eye away of the main subject to the phrases and letters of the book as well as details from the backround. This would create a 'noisy' image with no needed distracting 'information' ruining the balance of the photo and creating confusion. It would help the subject to stand out.

The main subject of the photo is the dandelion and the composition was created to focus the eye of the viewer on the dandelion with the use of leading lines and negative space (space of folded space with dark tones) in balance with positive space (space of bright backround petween the folded page and behind the flower).

I understand the thought as personal taste, but behind each composition there are elements and choices that implement a result from a different and subjective in any case P.O.V. identified by the pesronal aesthetic of its creator.

I really like this kind of comments! Thank you again!;):)
Your welcome panos_adgr panos_adgr šŸ™‚
I just gave my honest opinion.
I do not possess that kind of knowledge about art/photography and composition as you do. With this explanation it does make more sense for an ordinary man like me, why you composed it in this way the picture.
I hope you will share more of your pictures and your knowledge with us. šŸ˜

Dear friend Bihari.
I'm not an expert also. And I like to discuss a lot here with you all! It is better than saying a simple 'Very nice photo'.
It is nice to write our thoughts that make us create. I'm just trying to explain my thoughts behind my photos and why I do them this way.
It is helpful to exchange ideas!
I'm also an ordinary man. ;) šŸ˜‹
I haven't studied art in a school. But most of my nights I study about art movements, artists, psychology of artists, art styles and biographies of artists.

It has helped me a lot to realise better why I do things as I do them. It has helped me to improve my aesthetics in my compositions. But I'm still learning. I'm not yet satisfied with my photos. Maybe I will never be. šŸ˜…

Thank you Jack.
Behind the dandelion was the window curtain and view. It would make no sense and it would be very 'noisy

Yes agree with you, noise is the most what you want to avoid in images.

the colored version is sooooo beautiful love it!
Thank you Yohanna_D Yohanna_D . In the beginning I wanted to post the coloured version first but I did post the monochrome. Anyways after a second thought I posted the coloured also. I made a few versions of this photo. One was with its 'natural' colour, one was warm toned and one was monochrome. I think I might make a Sepia one also. :)
