Try to external ring tubs , you will understand my challange with well , but cheap and working well with macro lens and anothers.. only some of challange with very small sharpnes and light.. , but useful!

Hi @Bill Edwards, I've a Raynox DCR-250 lens and use it for my macros. I can really recommend it. But be aware because of the very little DOF! A spider like this is really a challenge! Because every gut of wind kicks your spider out of focus! Especially if you try to stack such small objects... sometimes I get really crazy!

Thanks Helix_2648 I think the dof limitation maybe would rule it out for me.The quality looks to be surprisingly good

Did you took this photo with telephoto lens @Bill Edwards ? As the spider is very tiny
