This morning I spent some time with the flowing sage (Salvia) that my wife brought in from the garden.
All D500 w/ 105mm lens.

On top of a Beaver dam I found the Greater Purple Fringed Orchid (Platanthera grandiflora) Quebec, Canada. Conservation Status: vulnerable (S3?) in Québec, CA (NatureServe).

I am always so happy to come across bees there are so many types and they are all beautiful including this guy, Brown-belted Bumble Bee (Bombus griseocollis) Alleyn-et-Cawood, Quebec, Canada. Any place I come across them is a special place for they are doing their hard work.

A quick question to everyone, what you prefer to shoot more, insects or flowers , and why ? :unsure:
Personally I do prefer flowers, as they are not running away, maybe small movements because of wind :)
