No, it was shot early morning between 6:30 - 7:30 AM, the light was diffused.. i hardly use flash since i like to click pics in the natural light..

Thanks Jack, this is my first active day here, still understanding the threads/rules etc.. will contribute more in the coming days.. I do take pics of insects,flies, bugs etc but I am also member of a local butterfly club here and trying to learn about these beautiful creatures...
