Ah, our beautiful Monarchs migrate from Canada to Mexico, where they overwinter...It is the biggest migration for a butterfly in the world and only second to the Dragonfly when it comes to insect migration.

i am aware. I am also aware that it takes around 3 generations to complete the migration cycle! its awesome!!

Similar to the Monarch is the Queen but she is found in the States.

We also have the Viceroy that mimics the poisonous Monarchs:
