Hi friends,
Here I am back with a newly edite photo after quite a long absence - lot of work to deal with these days - as a teacher; I never stop.
So here is my humble contribution; hope you would like it.
Hi,
We have had a few days of winter return to Melbourne in spring, while walking my dog yesterday I saw this poor butterfly struggling on the cold concrete footpath so i avoiding touching it as best as I could and took it home where I warmed it indoors and while sitting on my hand, eventually...
This lovely butterfly was so relaxed during my shooting, that it was nearly unbelievable.
I was even able to clamp the grass blade in my plant holder to avoid camera shakes.
It is a meadow brown (Maniola jurtina).
Hi,
I saw a night butterfly, static, so I tried for the first time the Focus bracketing with a tripod.
Stack of 50 pictures with Helicon Focus Method C
I know the result is not very good , i don't know why i'm bad on stacking ...

Hi friends,
An oldie but a goodie - a photo taken several years ago; here is my take on this butterfly taken in a summer morning with some dew on the insect.
I hope you would like it.
An Argus or Azure, there are several species that are difficult to differentiate according to their biotope, the flower on which they lay and the spots on their wings! Me, I'm fascinated by their color ... don't you?
Hi everyone,
Here is a photo taken last year and I was lucky enough to recreate the entire "painting" with these pastel colors. The butterfly was very cooperative with me and posed for me for about 10 minutes, enough time for me to sublimate it as best as I could.
Hi everyone,
This photo was taken 6 years ago; I was walking in a forest where there are also portions of plains so high grass. It's my second "secret" spot where I take photos especially in spring time.
It was end of afternoon. I came across this butterfly that was calm; I took my camera...
Hi everyone,
Again another photo taken a while back with a dynamic bokeh as I like to call those backgrounds and of course every aspect of this photo is willingly analysed before taking the shot and let there to be part of the picture.
Thank you for your lovely feedback.
Hi everyone,
I named this picture this way because it's still one of my best encounters ever made (and yet it was 7 years ago). I was sooooo lucky to have this butterfly resting on this flower and all the environment around it was with me and I could play with every single element to create...
Hi friends,
I am so glad to present you some of my photos that are close to my heart - beacause of:
1. the story they tell
2. the circumstances in which the pictures were taken
3. the subject itself
4. the nature surrounding the subject
5. the passion I put into photography.
Thank you for your...
Hi friends,
Here is another vision of macro photography that I don't usually apply in my photos; there are rara occasions when I get that close to my subjects because I don't want to scare them and because a pure macro sometimes does not tell the story that I want it to tell. 😁
But sometimes...
Hi everyone,
Back with my series of this melithea taken a few days ago. The sun was setting down, the butterfly was getting ready for its beauty sleep. I truly hope you would like it. Thank you for this amazing support and feedback you are offering me.
Best regards and stay safe.
Hi friends,
Another picture of my series with this gorgeous melithea that posed for me for about an hour; a magical hour for me where I could take it from different angles; I was lucky enough to have it on that beautiful purple flower that contrasted with its orange wings; the tones of the...
