Springtails are tiny creatures, often no bigger than 2mm. There are many different types, spherical or elongated, but in my garden I only found the spherical ones so far. Sometimes they are translucent, sometimes striped and sometimes a bit blotchy. And, as their name suggests, they can jump...

Here I used the bracketing function in the Olympus. It is fifty photos then stacked in Helicon focus and edited in Photoshop 2021.
